ABSTRACT:
A 7 page evaluation of the proper role of the U.S. in the United Nations. Noting that United States has been an important force in shaping the ideologies and political direction of the U.N. since its inception, this paper asserts that continued U.S. involvement in the U.N. is critical to maintaining the strength and influence of the U.N. Without the leadership of the United States and the clout of U.S. military, the U.N.would be largely ineffective in terms of world hierarchy and politics. Bibliography lists 7 sources.
